Monthly cash for children born in 2019 or later, from age 1 until age 8 (0–11 months are covered by the national Parental Benefit). It replaces the previously listed provincial birth grant, which could not be confirmed.
Who can apply
A parent resident in Gangwon for at least 1 year at application; child born on or after 1 Jan 2019 (no income test)
Application period
Apply at the community service center or Gangwon Hyetaek Easy; paid on the 25th of each month
